PART D: EPROCTO

Seokjin

Not necessarily embarrassed about it, but he’s also not going to admit it.

“What noise? I didn’t hear anything. You should get your hearing checked.”

The type to excuse other members for them

Makes fart jokes, we know this

Not super gassy or anything, pretty average, I guess.

He really doesn’t care or mind, he’s not that uptight about it or anything in my opinion. We know JK farted on his hand once, so like?

He’d take the blame for someone if he had to in a public situation and joke around about it pretty easily.

Yoongi

Also doesn’t give a fuck. He knows a time and a place unlike some other careless members, but generally, doesn’t give a fuck.

The one who would scold a member for doing it a lot in public.

Carries GasX. They’re a pretty gassy group of guys, I’d think, and they’ve used it a lot more than they’d admit, I’m sure.

Wouldn’t say anything, normally. If he’s doing something or on his phone and it happens, and he knows someone’s staring at him, he’ll half-ass an “excuse me” without picking his head up.

Not loud, not quiet. Long and airy. Pretty consistent sound. It’s only super noticeable in a quiet room or if his stomach is upset.

Pretty much a, “what? I farted, cool, no big deal” attitude.

Hoseok

Would use it as a punchline, make a lot of jokes about it.

Average amount...I can’t think of anything in particular that might make him really gassy, unlike some of the other members.

I think he cares, but he’s not cripplingly embarrassed by it. He’d laugh it off, it’s his method of handling most things.

He thinks Jimin is adorable in everything he does. He’s had a gassy Jimin in his lap many times and found it more adorable than anything, so. He doesn’t think it’s worth anyone getting embarrassed about.

Would rather not fart in a silent room, but if he really had to, oh well. In the end, none of it bothers him too much.

Namjoon

I’m sure there’s been an incident where someone, in a very half-asleep, loopy state, thought there was a fucking elephant in the house when it was just Namjoon’s ass.

He pretends not to be embarrassed, but I think he gets a little bashful from time to time.

He won’t hold it in or anything, though. Again, “better out than in.”

Will actually excuse himself. It’s habit.

But really, just like with burping, he’s really damn loud. Hear-it-down-the-halls kind of loud. Especially when his stomach hurts.

I can also picture him giving some kind of political, philosophical, and/or scientific rant regarding farts and metaphors to get out of an embarrassing moment.

I was thinking about NamJin and who would be the first to fart solely the presence of the other if they were just an average relationship...and I totally think it would be Namjoon, laying next to Jin...Jin looks at him, and he looks at Jin, and goes, “so, do you know anything about American politics? About how Trump is building a wall that needs to be broken, as it’s hindering further progress of many aspects economically? Well, we’ve just...we’ve just broken Trump’s wall and done all the progress America’s been trying to do for the past couple of years in a few minutes, Jinnie.”

Jimin

He may not burp much, but he could fly his way through space with how gassy he gets sometimes as far as farting is concerned.

As I’ve said, I headcanon him with IBS, and IBS can do that.

There’s no rhyme or reason to it, really. Sometimes he’ll get a really upset stomach from the smallest thing.

But typically, the basics make him very, very gassy--the same things that would increase it a little bit in the average human, like dairy and greens and shit.

He hates it so, so much. Gets so embarrassed.

Not necessarily has-actually-started-crying embarrassed, but honestly? Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s come pretty close.

Will apologize and excuse himself every single time. At least, if he can keep up.

Ranges from normal and cute to fifteen-seconds-at-a-time-shake-the-bed farts.

Tries to laugh off the embarrassment if it happens like, once-off. If he’s seeking comfort from another because his belly hurts, he’ll spend the whole time whining with his face buried in their chest, so that doesn’t count.

Taehyung

Doesn’t fart as much as he burps, but definitely above average. Also on the loud side.

Completely willing to give the commentary of, “ah, I’m so gassy…”

Totally does that.

He does, deep down, know a time and a place. Does he listen to that? No, not really.

There are very few situations where he would care enough to not do it.

It’s obvious if it was him, he smiles. Without a doubt. Unless he’s in a lot of pain, but again, different story.

Also willing to take the blame for it if blame must be taken for another member. Not even because he’s a jokester, literally because it doesn’t faze him.

I’m sure there’s some situations that would embarrass him and that he’s been in, but with the boys around? Not really, no.

Jungkook

He used to be really bashful. Said it with my burping headcanons too, but I think he used to torture himself and refuse to let anything out because he was cripplingly shy with everything, but eventually the others picked up on how shitty he’d feel if he held it all in, so they encouraged him to give no fucks.

Did I mention that they regret that decision sometimes?

Nah, ultimately, they’d rather he feel better than not be annoying.

But he’s annoyingly gassy.

Unintentionally. Like, him and Jimin are the can’t-physically-hold-it line.

Makes dumb dietary decisions, as I’ve said--they always bite him in the ass (pun intended.)

Will also use it for fuel to joke around, and he’s also the type to comfort someone else by intentionally ripping ass. There’s almost never a time where he doesn’t have something in him to give.

Will jokingly tease other members about it, too. Very jokingly, though, not like offensive.

jungkook can fart a WHOLE LOT. and they’re loud too. he don’t give no fucks. but he’s not the most gassy person. his stomach can handle lots of things honestly. his gas varies depending on what he eats and how much.

jimin is super gassy but when it’s him, think “silent but deadly.” like seriously, the others are always like “JIMIN!!!!!!” and he just giggles cus he can’t help it! he’s a little shy about it but it’s better out than in all honesty.

taehyung is the most gassy of the whole group, maybe even grassier than namjoon tbh. his farts are loud asf and he doesn’t care. he’ll walk into any room of the dorms and let it rip. he doesn’t do it on purpose per say, but. u know how it is 💀

“I haven’t burped since debut.” (Proceeds to admit to burping “like 200 times” during VLive once)

So, I think he burps a lot more than he’d like to admit

But based on that VLive he was talking about, I don’t think they’re very loud or prominent, and if they make a sound they’re likely more strained than anything

Then again, he did say his stomach was upset from drinking water on that VLive

Meaning that drinking something carbonated might be a different story?

Soda burps are probably a lot louder. But he doesn’t drink too much soda.

Same goes for carbonated alcoholic beverages, and they’re probably more frequent if he’s drunk because he probably cares even less.

Yoongi

Gets indigestion often, which can make him burpy

Not loud, not quiet

Except for when he’s feeling sick

Or if he’s drinking something carbonated

Unlike Jin, who I think is probably on the louder side and pretty loud compared to his usual,

Yoongi’s burps can get monstrous with enough carbonation (or if he’s really sick)

He doesn’t really care, either

Unless they’re in a very public situation, but even then he might not care because he’s not really that loud most of the time

If he’s cut off in the middle of speaking, he’ll excuse himself and continue talking, but that’s probably the best you’re gonna get.

Hoseok

The type to make a joke out of it and not care. Laugh it off, same with my eprocto headcanons, honestly.

I’ve never really thought too much about any burping headcanons for Hoseok? I don’t know, I don’t really write with/as him a lot ^^;

Namjoon

Fucking obnoxious

He doesn’t even try to be annoying, he just burps really loudly

Whether he drinks something carbonated or not

He’s not really embarrassed about it? But he’s not prideful, either.

Again, would never do it in a public situation.

He burps a lot when he feels shitty, like, every two minutes.

Most of the time, if he feels sick, there’s a 50% chance it’s just gas.

“I shouldn’t drink coke.” (Drinks coke anyway.)

He gave himself a whole speech on not burping on a VLive if that says anything here

Jimin

Soft, cute little burps

Though it’s not as bad as Yoongi, carbonation and being stuffed and feeling gross all contribute and can make him burp louder than usual

But I don’t think he’s really too burpy to begin with

A child about it (remember how he reacted to Hoseok burping on VLive? Lololol)

He gets kind of embarrassed when he burps around the others

But unless they’re loud and constant it doesn’t get him super super embarrassed. He just laughs nervously and tries to pretend it didn’t happen.

If it were in public, in front of fans, in the middle of something serious, that’s also a different story.

But the others coo at how cute he is no matter what he does, burping included (he burps like a kitten if that’s even a thing)

Taehyung

The biggest competition to Namjoon in being a naturally loud burper

Sometimes he does it to annoy the others

Has also started a burping contest with Jungkook more than enough times

But sometimes he also can’t help it

He’s just a burpy guy

Don’t give him soda

It’s just a bad idea.

Also kind of a child about it, but if it just happens with no joking intent he’s pretty unbothered

Jungkook

Also one of the burpy members of the group

Doesn’t care

Genuinely gives no fucks

Even if it’s in the middle of his sentence, he’ll just keep talking.

He drinks a lot of soda. Therefore he burps a lot.

Again, he and Taehyung have started many burping contests. The others just aren't fazed anymore.

This goes in hand with my eprocto headcanons as well, but I think when he first joined, since he was really really shy, he did his best to never burp or anything around the guys. But I think he’s a pretty gassy guy, and he’d end up making himself feel really shitty (really shitty) by holding it all in...so the others just taught him to give no shits.

They regret it sometimes

No but really they’d rather he annoy them than be in pain if it came down to it

Again, a good amount of the time he’s not even trying to be annoying.
